CONTRACT NEGOTIATION MANAGER

For our Legal department in Lugano we are looking for a:

Contract Negotiation Manager

Responsibilities include:

  • Draft issuance and negotiation of international agreements
  • Legal support to certain activities of Commercial and Scientific Divisions
  • Legal support to the project and/or product teams of the Helsinn Group's products, according to the indications of the Line Manager
  • Management of ad hoc tasks in relation to litigations and/or proceedings and/or competent authorities' requests
  • Legal advice to Helsinn Group's companies in relation to specific requests
  • Legal support to Helsinn Corporate Drug Safety in relation to inspections by the competent regulatory authorities
  • Any other legal tasks that may be assigned, from time to time, by the Line Manager to face up to the Helsinn Group business needs

The successful candidate has the following qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in business legal positions, in pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Degree in law is requested
  • Excellent level of spoken and written English and Italian is essential
  • Good use of basic computer programmes (Windows, Word, Excel, eMail)
  • Availability to travel
  • Excellent detail orientation
  • Negotiation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills are essential for relations outside the company as well as internally, with colleagues of the legal division and from other divisions/departments
  • Precision, problem solving, confidentiality
  • Ability to work under pressure
