For our Preclinical Development department in Lugano we are looking for a:


Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and coordinate the preclinical toxicology and safety pharmacology studies within the assigned development projects in term of cost and timelines.
  • Prepare and critically  review  scientific  reports,  technical publications, presentations and preclinical documentation for regulatory purposes on the assigned development projects.
  • Manage the relationship  with Contract Research Organizations
  • Represent the Preclinical Development Department function interface, when required, within the Project Teams.
  • Contribute to the scientific publications on internal compounds  in development  and to attend to the scientific meetings

The successful candidate has the following qualifications:

  • 2-3 years in research groups in academia and/or 1-2 years in the pharmaceutical companies
  • University Degree In pharmacology or biology, preferably a PhD in biological /pharmaceutical sciences
  • Experience and training in general toxicology/pharmacology
  • Experience in drug development Is an advantage
  • Good command of spoken and written English is essential, other languages are a plus
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills are essential for relations outside the company as well as internally, with colleagues from other divisions/departments.
